This week I go for the badminton competition. My 1st game was on Monday 6.00pm. I reach the court at 5.30pm. I used half an hour warming up. The registration was started on 6.00pm and competition started around 6.20pm. Then, the judge start to announce and ask the participants go to the following court to start the game.So this is my challenger, Justin Tan.
This is my 1st preliminary so I quite nervous. Participant get 11 point in 1 match consider as the winner. At the beginning, we say hallo to each other then we started to warm up. After a few minutes, our game was begin. First of all, I quite nervous and I always miss the ball. At middle game, our result is 4-8, I less 4 point from him. After I heard my point ,I’m more nervous than before. Then I try to calm down myself, refresh my mind and try to think why I lose so many point and find his weakness. After that, our game continue. I try to rush for the point and finally I same point with him, 8-8, and I knew that what is his weakness. After a few minutes, our game was end at the point, 11-9.I WON!!!!!!!
After the game, we shake hand with him and thank to him. So my 2nd preliminary was on Wednesday.
2nd preliminary was on 3.00pm and I'm as usual reach the court early to warm up. On 3.00pm all participants were come and the competition began. So this is ThamYingWei.
As usual, we warm up for a while and our game began. This time, participant who get 21 point in 1 match consider as the winner. First of all, he is quite skilllful, he always hits the ball to the side and I difficult to save the ball. So at the middle of the game, I didn't get any point at all and he got 10 point. Oh my god!!!!!Then we rest for a while and I just take a big breath to calm me down. After that, game continue. On the game, i just try to save the ball and rush the whole court and i control by him. Then, our game end by point 21-7 and i lost. I'm already try my best to play the game. Although I lost the game, but i still very happy because I realize that what is my weakness and i learn many thing on this match. After that, we shake hand with each other and i wish him good luck on the competition.On the competition, I learn many thing and I know some friends there. Although i lost the game but I very enjoy it. After all I will continue to play my badminton and now it became my another hobby. I will try to improve not only in badminton skill, i also try to learn don't too nervous on the match. If you nervous, you will lose your mind. Therefore, I wish I can play well and try to improve my skill. So, I will continue to play badminton forever and ever.
